Speed — Top Hairpin-bends

Here you will find a mixture of Speed related video's. I've recently added the lap around the Ring a 6:56.4 in the 991 Gen 2 GT3RS. That's bloody fast... as quick as the (918 Spyder...).it gets to a top speed of around 286 km/h down the finishing straight or approx 178 mph. It gets to the Yokohama Bridge in around 1min 18 sec. First carousel (concrete banking section) at 4:03 mins and the second at approx 6:03 mins. Very impressive stuff. I've now found the GT3RS Gen 2 991 is appearing in some interesting videos, so I've added them in.

In November 2018 Porsche get a GT2 MR around the ring in 6:40…..

On 30 July 2018 a german driver with GT4 and Boxster takes his new GT3 RS around the Ring ['1st lap around the Ring.....']. At 14:20 into the video he almost looses the car.......watch him catch it, and then explain what happened.

A Uk Guy has wrapped his GT3 RS in the Pig livery from the famous 917 car of the early 1970s and of course class winner at this years Le Mans. Check out him trying to drive Silverstone.

Given the amazing effort by Porsche on 29 June 18 to celebrate their 70 years the 5:19 by the 919 Hybrid is incredible. Their goal to break Stefan Bellof record of 6:11 set in the 1980's in his then state-of-the-art 956. They smashed this by 52 seconds.....progress.

The Head 2 Head of a P1 McLaren against the 918 Spyder around Laguna Seca racetrack is rather fun (over 4.5m hits).

On April 16 the Porsche 911 GT3 RS set another benchmark for road-approved sports cars at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife circuit in Germany: Porsche works race driver Kévin Estre set a lap time in 6:56.4 minutes with the 520-hp GT3 RS. The Frenchman's lap time was 24 seconds faster than the best time achieved with the previous GT3 RS model.

Using hyperbole to describe the 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO is unnecessary. The car speaks for itself. It is one of the last (of thirty-six) Ferrari GTOs ever built. This particular one, chassis #5571, was the first of the Series II bodies.
